Spring/summer 2021 makeup trends are a little different this year. With most of us going for a more natural pared back look whilst in lockdown, we are seeing an emphasis on bold eye looks or strong and unusual lip shades.

SKIN
If you are feeling inclined to opt for a natural look as seen on the runways this season, you can achieve this look with a subtle touch of concealer to hide any dark circles or blemishes. Let your natural beauty shine through showing off your gorgeous freckles.
Get your glow on this season with the return of dewy, healthy skin. This look is most easily achieved by using moisturiser as a base. To elevate the look highlight points of your face to add additional shine. Fresh, glowing skin is your ultimate accessory this summer.
BLUSH
This summer to get the look add colour and freshness to your face by adding a matte pink blush.
Apply below the cheeks and closer to the centre of your face.
EYES
With your base and cheeks sorted it’s all about the eye makeup this summer. Loud, bold and vibrant eye shadows and looks are what you need.
This summer the Smokey eye returns with a modern twist. Application is concentrated on the top lash line and lid, while the lower lash line was not lined.
For another bold look thick black graphic liner is one of my favourite looks for the season. Applied in a heavy layer all around the eye and extended to the outer corner this look will create drama giving you strong eye game. Remember this eye look is best worn with natural makeup.
If you are feeling game, you may like to try the dramatic blue eyeshadow trend. Believe it or not, ‘80s style blue eyeshadow is back. All you need to get the look is a monochrome deep blue eyeshadow painted in the crease of your eye.
LIPS
Keeping your skin bare add a red lip to create a low effort glamours look. This season we are loving matte red lips lined with a visible lip liner to create a pouted look.
Whist it is unusual to see dark shade lipsticks in summer, this season we are loving a matte burgundy red lip.
Bright shade orange lipstick is defiantly colour to be wearing on your lips this summer. Try a super bright shade in a semi matte finish.
