WINTER FASHION 2020
"What's on trend this Winter"
There is no denying there is a chill in the air....Winter is definitely coming!
As we all cosy up at home in COVID isolation, we felt we would like to share some fashion inspiration so you can be winter ready to bust out in style.
Updating your wardrobe for a new season can feel a little bit daunting. To incorporate new trends into your wardrobe, we advise you go through your current wardrobe and really think about how you can integrate the new trends into what you already have.
Here are some of our must have fashion trends to include in your autumn/winter 2020 wardrobe:
Colour:
Add some vibrant colour into your wardrobe. Make a statement choosing one bold colour from head to toe like fuchsia, green, red, blue or orange.
Neutral tones:
This season neutral tone dressing is a very strong trend. We recommend when replicating neutral tone outfits, to experiment with varying shades of neutral tones. When wearing varying shades, add in some different textures to break up the look. From thin knits, to faux leather and suede.
Pants Suit:
This winter we have seen a return of women’s suiting. Power dressing in a more contemporary form, includes deconstructed loose cuts and relaxed styles.
Inject patterns like check, floral, tartan and bold solid colours into your suiting choices.
Suiting is extremely effortless, comfortable and flattering for any body type.
Flared pants:
We are so excited to see the return of 70's style flared pants. We recommend for the best silhouette, the flare to start from the knee down.
This season we are seeing a combination of both full length flares and cropped flares. Start off with a classic pair in denim and or black and team back with your favourite knit, for that effortless chic look.
Leather and Faux Leather:
Leather and faux leather, is the modern staple for autumn/winter 2020.Leather and faux leather is being used in every garment this winter. Jackets, coats, dresses, pants, skirts and tops are all designed with the intentions of layering from head to toe in leather.
We love seeing not only the traditional brown and black leather but the modern twist in shades of red, burgundy, green, yellow and purple.
Trench:
The trench is a timeless classic staple in any woman’s wardrobe. The trench is elegant and practical.
Modern twists to look out for this season are leather or check panelling, pleated and ruffled bodices, side button details, open slit sleeves, and double lapels.
