Whether you have spotted it on the red carpet or the runway, this summer we are seeing more flesh. The very sophisticated cutout trend, Broderie Anglaise trend and crochet trend are making a comeback.

CUTOUT TREND:

The cutout trend has emerged as one of the biggest trends for the season. Small elegant cutouts exposing minimal amounts of skin which are unexpected and super sexy is one of our favourite details this season. These modern cutouts are mainly seen on garments around the décolletage, the waist or the hips as a refined and elegant feature.

BRODERIE ANGLAISE:

Nothing says summer like Broderie Anglaise. Broderie Anglaise is pretty cutout embroidered lace. This season we are seeing a more modern version with intricate patterns and irregular embroidery.
Broderie Anglaise is soft, feminine and romantic. It is a lightweight wardrobe staple for Spring Summer. We are seeing it in stores in dresses, blouses and skirts.

CROCHET TREND:

This season expect to incorporate a bit of grandma chic into your wardrobe.
Crocheting is a hand crafted process of creating a fabric by interlocking strands of yarn until they form a textile.
This 70s style fun, funky, colourful and airy trend is making a huge comeback.
The crochet trend is being worn this season in bright colours to the beach, as day wear or for an evening out on the town.
In stores this season we are seeing crochet crop and bra tops, tops, co-ords, street style dresses and lace like crochet dresses with sexy plunging necklines.
