This Spring Summer is all about shorts. Always a summertime staple, stores are filled with many different short silhouettes from denim shorts to leather shorts and tailored shorts to Bermuda shorts. With versatile and functional shorts for every occasion this season we are seeing shorts worn for corporate wear, lounge wear and beachwear. Choosing the right pair of shorts to flatter your body and make you feel great this summer can be a mind field. With so many different styles on the market, we have compiled a list of some of our favourite styles for the season. Remember, feeling comfortable is the most important thing when choosing shorts.

DENIM SHORTS:

Denim shorts are a timeless classic summer staple. You may opt for short denim shorts, distressed denim, high waisted, mid length or longline denim shorts this season. Pair your denim shorts with a basic t-shirt and a pair of slides or sneakers for that effortlessly casual look. Dress up your denim shorts with a silky cami or sexy on trend exposed bra top. A good pair of denim shorts is a great basis to any outfit.

BERMUDA SHORTS:

Bermuda knee length shorts are very flattering and extremely popular this season. This season the runways were flooded with Bermuda shorts with a matching tailored blazer for a corporate vibe. Alternatively, pair your tailored bermuda shorts with an exposed bra top and blazer for a sexy evening look. Glamorous leather, shiny satin, denim and bright bold coloured Bermuda shorts are some of our favourites.

SHORT SHORTS:

Show off your fabulous sexy legs in a pair of short shorts. We are seeing knit styles, tailored styles, leather, satin high rise, retro styles with sailor buttons, pleats and denim shorts in stores. For a more modern look, the paperbag shorts are extremely flattering. They are high waisted and tie with a bow or elastic feature, emphasising your waist. Wear them casually with your favourite t-shirt and sneaker, or team them back with a delicate top and sandal.
